OUR MISSION IS TO BLEND FARMING AND BREWING INTO EXCEPTIONAL FOOD & BEERS
Brookeville, MD is a small town rich in history and hospitality. Our goal is to carry that spirit in our business as we welcome all friends of the Beer Farm to visit the brewery and hopyard, enjoy the finest beers and homemade pizzas, and socialize with neighbors in a community setting.
THE FARM
We began building our farm in the spring of 2014 in the fields behind our brewhouse. It started with our first hop yard, followed by patches of red raspberries and shiitake mushrooms. The farm continued to grow in 2015 with the addition of a second, larger hop yard, as well as blueberry and blackberry bushes and honey-producing beehives.
Today, the Beer Farm is covered with planters where we grow tomatoes, mint, various spices, peppers, and many other fresh veggies that we use in our kitchen. We also have a hive body system for producing our very own Beer Farm honey!
THE BREWERY
Our brewery, located next to the tasting room, features a ten-barrel system, four bright tanks, and eight fermenters. Spent grain from the brewing process is composted to enrich our farmland.
The Taproom offers cozy indoor seating with wood beams, a handcrafted oak bar, and our pizza oven. We also have outdoor seating with picnic tables for relaxation. We're family- and dog-friendly!
